Just finished listening to this episode and wow—there’s a lot happening in the residency and citizenship space right now. I’ve been passively researching second residency options for a while, but this episode really made me realize how fast things are shifting, especially with countries tightening up their programs or changing requirements almost overnight.

What I love about Mikkel’s approach is that he doesn’t just talk about the “sexy” programs everyone’s buzzing about (like Portugal or St. Kitts). He actually digs into lesser-known but super practical options, especially for people who are serious about diversifying their lifestyle, assets, and personal freedoms. The bit about Georgia and the updates in the Caribbean programs were especially interesting.

Also, the reminder that residency and citizenship strategies aren’t one-size-fits-all was a good reality check. What works for a digital nomad might not make sense for a family of four—or someone running a brick-and-mortar business. It’s easy to get caught up in the Instagram fantasy of it all, but there’s real planning involved.
