I was looking forward to hearing the latest from Luongo, as his thesis that the Fed has been blowing up offshore dollar markets in order to defend Wall Street at the expense of EU central banks has great explanatory power. But as others are noting, he did seem a little agitated on this podcast. His random attack on the excellent James Corbett—who literally has a long-running series called Solutions Watch—was puzzling, as was his criticism of Whitney Webb and Ryan Cristián. Ryan especially helped me tremendously during covid by organizing and presenting deep, real time information, which strangely is exactly what Luongo criticises him for.

The generations that have attended college since the 1990s have been indoctrinated in college and in K-12 schools. As a result of the indoctrination, the been trend toward support for socialism is unsurprising. Since socialism cannot work and has repeatedly failed, Tom is justified in dissing the younger cohort for believing in a delusion. Of course, you can say similar things about almost every cohort since the 1880s, but the trend is escalating. Pew finds that there are sharp generational differences as to support for socialism and opposition to capitalism. More than 40% of the public under 50 has a positive view of socialism. That is enough to change society, and it portends increasing authoritarianism in America. It is hard not to be emotional about this generational stupidity, although it is not their fault. The Republican Party has allowed the Democrats to turn American education institutions into socialist indoctrination camps. One of many Pew studies is here: https://www.pewresearch.org/politics/2022/09/19/modest-declines-in-positive-views-of-socialism-and-capitalism-in-u-s/

I get his point, but I think calling the EU Commissioner something like stupid is way below the belt and does not help at all establish whatever he is asserting, not to mention how he would make generalizations about boomers and women. I just wish he had asked himself what made those people like the EU commissioner do what they did. I like the way this guy started out in a humble way, but the way he developed his argument especially further towards the end leaves something very distasteful to some audience like me. I just cannot imagine what this guy would be like if he actually had that PhD in geopolitics. There's a part of him I somehow like - he's not in the gray about anything -- he's clearly on one side and not the other. That sells a lot nowadays, especially among influencers. But if there's one word I would somehow use to describe not necessarily him but the way he argued in this podcast -- it was a word he also mentioned --- Nazi. Nice content and good learnings from this man but definitely I can't be one of the millions of people who regularly read his stuff. I don't even wanna remember his name. I just hope he should listen to you more and learn more from your example, Mikkel, because literally in terms of demeanor you're light-years away.

Hey Ned, thanks for your message, if you have been listening to the show for a while, you know I let people say what they want to say. I am a millennial and I was not offended by what he said as I believe myself as an exception. Tom is an interesting character and his rants are certainly intense but none the less I am glad to have had a chance to interview him and explore different ideas. Always trying to learn and see if what someone says has merit or not. Best, Mikkel

The presenter's perspective was interesting but the generational hatred was hard to stomach and totally undermined his arguments. Hating people because of their age is as bigoted as hating people because of their race.

I know a lot of the "fucking boomers," that he despises, and they're committed to liberty. They're nothing like this idiot paints them as. I also know plenty of great Millennials, who he also seems to look down in, who are trying to raise their children in a way that they're not corrupted by the system. On the other hand, a lot of the most "woke" and vile people I've seen are in the presenter's age group.

Good and evil are present among people of all ages. People are individuals. The interviewer knows that and should have challenged this idiot.
